Medata Tech Update
June 23rd, 2008 - Tustin, California
Beginning in June Medata is turning up service on a new data center located in Tustin CA. This state of the art data center is provided by, one of the nation’s largest data and internet services companies. Sharing the floor in the data center with us are big names like Toshiba and Google! With features like 24/7 monitoring, ultra redundant power, cooling, and internet connections, this brings our servers in to the next level of connectivity and availability by eliminating many single points of failure. All of this translates in to much greater reliability in the way we bring the industries most reliable automated bill review application to you.
With the addition of this new location to store our servers, Medata is also adding new technology and features to bring our customers enhanced speed and security. We have contracted with Dell to bring in multiple new servers which allow us to add more computing power to our environment, and more resources for our software to take advantage of during its execution. More servers also means greater security with scheduled backups to fail-over machines in case the unthinkable happens, and greater integrity of your data with larger disk arrays to store everything and provide increased fault tolerance. Our advanced new ASA firewalls from Cisco help to ensure that your data is safe, and with industry standard SSL encrypted web traffic and SSH encrypted file transfer and terminal sessions your network traffic is truly private.
Customers can expect to take advantage of this new technology in the next few weeks as they are migrated over to the new system. All that is required is a quick email from our customer service agents, and clients are all set to start using the newest and best solution that Medata has to offer. It's so easy to switch that just one word is all you have to change on your connection URL!
Keep an eye out for more improvements as we are updating our technology strategy to provide you with the best service around.
