Seeing old friends and meeting new contacts were just a few highlights from the work comp trade show this year.

Leaving the Golden State behind, Chicago greeted us with cloudy skies and mild autumn temperatures as we stepped off the plane.  Our schedules booked solid with dinners, meetings and cocktails parties we were ready for whatever the week at the trade show had to offer us. 

The approach to styling this year’s booth was anything but ordinary.  Tired of the traditional plastic walls, carpet and the occasional plant, we incorporated comfort with modern chic by adding stylish couches to create a “loungey” feel.  To generate a buzz, we brought in the newest version of vitamin waters to hit the shelves from Activate.   The positive feedback received for our design and promo were overwhelming.

Both days following the expo, Medata held a cocktail party at our Hyatt McCormick Place Skyline Suite.  The Medata ice sculpture was the focal point of the room strategically placed in front of the window overlooking the Chicago skyline.  With an amiable atmosphere, conversations never ran dry as our friends from the industry filled the room.
